General Information
The Social Science Librarians Boot Camp RVA is a one-day conference for librarians, academic technologists, and others supporting the work of social scientists that will offer an inside look at the processes and tools used by researchers in the social sciences.

Modeled after the Social Science Librarians Boot Camp held annually in Boston since 2011, SSLBC-RVA will include topical presentations from faculty and experts in the field, hands-on workshops, and opportunities for networking and discussion. While we expect this conference will be especially helpful for early career librarians and academic technologists, all are welcome.

Code of Conduct
Social Science Librarians Boot Camp RVA is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

Student Scholarships
If you are a student, either full or part-time, and need financial support, consider applying for a scholarship to cover your registration fee! Please apply before registering; the deadline is July 1st, and we will contact all applicants with registration instructions.
