Senator Siobhan S. Dunnavant
Siobhan Dunnavant is a native Virginian and the daughter of a career Naval officer. She is a well-respected OB-GYN who has been recognized as one of the region’s “Top Docs” by Richmond Magazine. Siobhan is currently serving in her first term in the Virginia Senate representing the 12th District and, as a newcomer to public office, she brings a fresh perspective to some of the most important challenges facing Virginia. Dr. Siobhan Dunnavant MD is a free-market, limited-government conservative with first-hand experience in the challenges and economics of healthcare. She believes decisions at the state level could benefit from analytical clinical discernment, private sector innovation and business common sense.
Senator Jennifer McClellan
Jennifer McClellan was elected to the Senate of Virginia in January 2017. She serves on the Agriculture, Conservation & Natural Resources, Local Government, and Transportation Committees. Jennifer chairs the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Commission, and serves on the Virginia Indian Commemorative Commission and the Task Force on the Preservation of the History of Former Enslaved African Americans. She co-chairs the Capital Region Caucus, serves as Vice Chair of the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus, and is a member of the Rural Caucus, Women’s Health Care Caucus, and Fire and EMS Caucus. She also serves on the Southern Regional Education Board Legislative Advisory Council. In 2017, she was selected to be a Hunt-Kean Leadership Fellow. Since 2008, she has served as a guest columnist for the Richmond Times Dispatch during the General Assembly Session.
Robby Demeria - Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Trade for Technology
Prior to his appointment, Robby Demeria served as Executive Director of the Richmond Technology Council, known as RVATECH, a business association in the technology industry representing over 26,000 practitioners and nearly 300 businesses as the voice of technology in the greater Richmond region. He also served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and held legislative positions with former Congressman Jim Moran and Delegate Bob Brink. Robby obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from George Mason University.
Delegate Chris Peace
97th District voters first elected Christopher K. Peace to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2006, and ever since, your state Delegate has worked faithfully to represent the best interests of the hard-working people and families of Hanover, King William, and New Kent Counties. At the legislature, Peace serves on the prominent House Appropriations (state budget) committee where he chairs the budget for all public-school divisions across the Commonwealth. Peace is Chairman of the oldest standing committee in the General Assembly, known as General Laws, and also serves on the Health, Welfare and Institutions and Science and Technology committees.
